It’s October. 2022 is flying by - so grab those brooms, put ‘em in gear and…let’s get scary strong. 💪🏼
This month’s program is all about challenging your strength: body, mind and spirit. And when I say spirit… that includes your Halloween spirit! 👻
Why? Because having fun, laughing, enjoying the journey is a one of the best forms of SELF-LOVE❤️.
What about the October training focus?
WE’RE BUILDING TIGHT CURVES WITH TOTAL BODY STRENGTH TRAINING.
While we always include strength work in our programming, it’s getting EXTRA reps this month. Why?
Being strong is awesome. Helps you fight aging, sarcopenia and zombies.🧟♀️
More muscle = increase in lean body mass = increase metabolism = more calories burned at rest. 🔥
More muscle = tight curves and looking bad ass. 🙋🏽♀️
NON-SCALE VICTORIES, PLEASE!
While weight loss is a goal for many, simply focusing on losing weight can be frustrating and boring! I believe in infusing your journey with fun and celebration by measuring your efforts and successes outside of what the damn scale says. If you keep improving on your efforts, you will make those weight loss goals happen—without it being your sole focus.
MEASURING STRONG…
For the month of October, we’re measuring our progression with 5 movements. Each week, we are pushing for heavier weight/and or more reps completed. The October Welcome video covers the deets.
Share your progress each week in the Facebook group or with me via email. There will be fun prizes and awards all throughout the month for awesome effort, grit, resilience, and, of course, spooky spirit!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Get Equipped. You need Booty Bands, an Exercise Mat, Dumbbells or some other substitute resistance device (detergent bottles, gallons of water) and an aerobics step (optional) and a jump rope (if you wish to participate in the optional jump rope workouts). We also use aerobics steps from time to time, but that is also optional. All moves can be done from the floor. If you are interested in really focusing on your nutrition and mindset, I highly recommend the JaimeFit Love Yourself Fit Journal too. Complete 3 (or more) JaimeFit workouts* a week.. Let me know you completed workouts by posting a comment on JaimeFit or posting in the Facebook Group.
Weekly Scary Strong Workout. You must complete this workout each week to be eligible for the prizes.
Optional: Take before + after pics and/or do measurements. This is not necessary, but many members love to account for their progress and provide another layer of accountability. Again, this is NOT necessary. Only if it makes you feel good and excited!
